QUAD by Stewart Beggs

£795.00

QUAD is an intensive 1-day course that is designed to improve direct posterior composite skills.

Focussing on quadrant dentistry as the most efficient way of treating multiple teeth. Applying biomimetic principles for gold standard bonding, best possible layering technique recreation of natural biomechanics and use of tints and effects to recreate beautiful aesthetics

  • Biomimetic principles + literature

  • Rubber dam isolation

  • Proper caries removal end-points
Gold standard bonding systems + restorative materials

  • Immediate dentine sealing + resin coating

  • Matrixing options

  • Layering techniques to reduce contraction stresses
    Creative stains and tints

  • Direct / indirect composite vs ceramic restorations

Hands on practicals:

  • Rubber dam isolation for quadrant dentistry

  • Simple and not so simple class I's

  • Class II matrixing options
    Back-to-back class Il's

  • Complex quadrants where mixed direct and indirect

Course Aims + Objectives

  • To introduce biomimetic materials and techniques for each step of posterior composite restorations to ensure best possible results and predictable outcomes:

  • To discuss the scientific evidence-base for each of these techniques and steps

  • To introduce you to biomimetic materials, techniques and evidence-base and how this can provide us with sound protocols that can be followed in every day clinical practice

  • To allow delegates hands-on experience of immediate dentine sealing, resin coating, fibre use, matrixing, stress reduced layering techniques

About the Speaker

Dr Stewart Beggs

Dr. Stewart Beggs is a passionate expert in biomimetic and aesthetic dentistry, practicing in London and Reading. Known for his precision and patient-first approach, he focuses on delivering high- quality, minimally invasive treatments that preserve natural tooth structure while achieving

stunning, natural-looking results. Stewart graduated from Newcastle University in 2015 and completed his Foundation training at the renowned Eastman Dental Hospital. Right after that, he moved into private practice and has been

fully dedicated to it ever since, helping patients achieve healthier, more beautiful smiles. Stewart doesn't just teach biomimetic dentistry —he lives it. His approach blends science, engineering principles, and cutting-edge techniques to mimic the properties and biomechanics of natural teeth. The goal? To preserve as much healthy tooth structure as possible while avoiding the

complications that often come with traditional restorative methods. Stewart is always at the forefront of the latest advancements in dental adhesion and materials, traveling the world to attend biomimetic courses and stay ahead of the curve. His passion for

learning and innovation translates directly into his teaching. As an international lecturer on restorative and cosmetic dentistry, Stewart loves sharing how he integrates biomimetic techniques into both direct and indirect restorations. He's all about making

dentistry more predictable, efficient, and natural-looking. What really sets Stewart apart as an educator is his real-world experience. While many courses focus on theory, he brings a wealth of practical knowledge from years in private practice. His training goes beyond just techniques — it covers everything you need to succeed in a real clinical

setting, giving you the confidence to take your work to the next level.
