Build it, Don't Take it! - The Impression Course
Rupert and Mike will take you through various techniques to help tackle multiple hands-on scenarios to help you get the best possible start to every denture case.
This course is perfect for both Clinical Dental Technicians, as well as General Dentists looking to produce consistent primary impressions. Whether that be to help streamline your NHS workflow and reduce those pesky reviews, or to give you the confidence to provide supportive and retentive private prostheses.
This one day hands-on course will cover theory as well as an initial exercise taking impressions on each other to practise tray selection, palate adaption, positioning and border moulding. We will also practice the mobile teeth impression on each other! Please note this is required!
The rest of the day will cover multiple cases on specially made model scenarios including:
- Edentulous Upper
- Edentulous Lower
- Lone Standing Teeth
- Bilateral Free-End Saddle
- Unilateral Free-End Saddle and Bounded Saddle
For the Bath course these will be bench top, not phantom head!
We are very fortunate to have the support of multiple material companies so you will be able to try different materials for the same scenarios and see which you prefer.
We look forward to seeing you for this unique course!
